Bangkok

Today we arrived to Bangkok really early but since I had not slept at all during the flight we had to get some rest at the hotel, luckly we got the room hours before check in time. We planed to do a lot today but missed Grand palace’s opening hours (9.30-15.30). What we did do, and I also recommend it to you, was to hire a longtail boat with driver to se Wat Arun, the temple of dawn in Thonburi on the other side of the great river Chao Praya, and the klongs where people live along and on the water. We was warned from paying to much, the sometimes ask 5000 bath per person but a woman said we should not pay more than 1400 each. I actually got the price down to 2000 bath for two – and it was totally worth it even though it was raining cats and dogs during our tour!
