Miss T Loves…

… to travel. Staying home half a year after our long Bali hang out has energized my travel heart again. Has found some heavenly destinations to put on my bucketlist, this time more luxury than leisure. Next stop 2015:

1) Cornwall, UK, Europe. The south coast is for surfing, drinking hard cider and hunting antiques.

2) Zanzibar, Tanzania, Africa. Dream destination called “the next Mauritius” and famous for spices.

3) Tulum, Mexico, South America. Heared a great deal about this white washed beach spot.

4) Surfspot La Pedrera and José Ignacio – “the chicest spot in Latin Amerika” accourding to New York Times, Uruguay, South America.

5) Albanien, Europe. Un spoilt and still rather un travelled by most this poor country offers antique ruins, beautiful beaches and The blue lagoon.

6) Kapstaden, South Africa, Africa. Vineyards and beautiful scenery.

7) New York City, US. Got a ticket to the big apple from my boyfriend. Can se myself walking the high line in the morning and cheering the skyline from a roof top bar at midnight.

8) The amalfi coast, Italy, Europe. Maybe some days rest here before a wedding weekend in Tuscany.

9) Nice, France, Europe. Nice is always Nice. I love this beach strip. Next time I want to visit Grass’ perfumed fields top.

10) Visby, Gotland, Sweden, Europe. This rough and rugged sunshine island is something else. My boyfriend has not been there yet.

Extra: Berlin, Germany, Europe. You have to go there. At least I have. Europe’s historical heart.

…a salty beach on the West coast. This is popular Tylö in Halmstad (above). One summer I tested ten beaches in south Sweden for a newspaper and this got the highest scores. Partly because it is holds so much happy summer memories of camping with friends and having a camp fire on the beach all night long – but I will not tell you about the skinny dipping under the bright August moon. This is here popstar Per Gessle (Roxette/Gyllene Tider) constantly find inspiration to his iconic summer soundtrack.

Other fab sandy beaches is Laxvik and Östra Stranden on the other side of Halmstad. Further south you can kite surf in Apelviken, Varberg, and feel rich and beautiful in the pearl white sand at Falsterbo näset! If you want multiculture and samba and a sporty boardwalk for rollerskating or snakeboard head for Ribban in Malmö.

My boyfriend, born and raised in Halmstad, stay true to his childhood memories:

“I have to say my favorite is Östra Stranden. It’s close, not deep, there is a kiosk, not too many people… I think the mini golf there is great!”

When Swedish business magazine DI Weekend list the best beaches:

• Norsta Aurar, Fårö – wild and rare.
• Bläsinge, Öland – postcard beautiful but often windy.
• Åsa, Göteborg – calm beach with private feel.
• Bjurö klubb, Västerbotten – North Sweden’s wild gem.
• Skreastrand, Falkenberg – classic bath cabins.
• Rörums strand, Österlen – packed with people but beautiful Mediteranien sea feel.

Beverly Hills Hotel is such a lovely place for a romantic and super chic retro holiday on classic moviestar land. The redesigned hotel aged 101 and as new again has recently unveiled new pool canabas and a hip poolside café dubbed “a dinner destination for LA’s tastemakers. I would love to go back for a personal remake!

Stop by the new National Aquarium in Copenhagen this summer. The buildi g in itself is said to be worth a visit and positioned beside the other iconic buildings like the opera houses in Sidney and Oslo. If you step inside the water world will amaze you too.

This week came with sun and good vibes. Party in every corner and every day and I have a lot of free time to relax. Today I wanna chill on a terasse with a cold drink in my hand.

Here is some places to recommend in Stockholm:

• Villa Godthem at city island Djurgården.
• Bockholmen Hav och restaurang, just outside the city
• Mälarpaviljongen, waterview and garden feeling in the middle of the city
• Debaser, in the park Humlegården

Here is a list of several more hot spots for summery and sunny after work (sorry it’s in Swedish).

If you can’t head out there please make your self a relaxing smoothie just because it’s friday!

2/3 prosecco
1/3 peach purée

“At first I didn’t quiet liked the idea of becomming an object at a museum before I am dead, but I changed my mind, says Björn Ulvaeus to the magazine Kupé about ABBA The museum opening in Stockholm, Sweden, the 7th of May.
Björn Ulvaeus is the prime investor in the new permanent museum that most certainly will bring hords of fans to the capital of Sweden.
Then in 1974 a supergroup. Now? While Björn invest in the museum, Benny try his luck in the movie business, Agnetha has just released new songs and is at the moment a little more available than even more media shy Frida.
